Lithology and Thickness
No details yet given. Upward succession of Bhagwanpura Limestone Member, Sawa Member (sandstone) and Palri Member (shale). The Bhagwanpura Limestone Member is extensively dolomitic in nature with local occurrence of microbialites.

Regional extent
Bhagwanpura Limestone Mbr (lower Sands Fm) in the Rajasthan sector (west Vindhyan basin) is considered to be the stratigraphic equivalent of the Kajrahat Limestone Member (upper Kajrahat Fm) of the Son Valley (east Vindhyan basin)
